6 week Hand-building Pottery class, Wednesday's 9 - 11.30

 My 6 week beginners hand - building pottery class runs on Wednesday mornings

9 am - 11.30 am.

About the class

You will learn how to hand - build pottery using a range of methods, including coiling, pinching and slab building to create sculptural, textured and unique ceramic pieces such as bowls, vases and sculptured items.(We do not use a wheel on this course).

You will use a variety of decorating techniques, such as using coloured slips, underglazes, stoneware glazes and oxides, stamps and mark making and sgraffito. 

Your masterpieces will be fired to stoneware temperature, meaning your finished items can go inside or outdoors. 

The class size is limited to 8 students, allowing for a more focused and supportive learning environment. 

We will work on a structured project each week and step by step demonstrations will be given.

The session will run at 112 Highlands Road, Fareham, Hants, PO15 6JG. There is parking for 5 cars on the drive and there is a parade of shops opposite if further parking is required.

Only £210 which includes all materials including glazes and kiln firings.
