'By the Water's Edge' - Original Watercolour Painting. 40cm x 40cm.

An original watercolour painting of a Kingfisher perched next to the water's edge. It was painted within a golden circle, showing a flock of birds flying above.  This painting made it into my book 'Welcome to Nature's Year'.  It has been painted using professional quality watercolours and Saunders Waterford Watercolour paper, which comes from the local St Cuthberts Mill. I have added small amounts of copper and silver foil to some of the birds, so as you walk passed this piece, it will shimmer as Starlings do when you see them.

The painting comes in a soft cream mount and has a certificate of authenticity. 

There is an option for professional framing in a soft grey frame, or it will fit a standard 16" x 16" size frame if you prefer to have it framed yourself.

Mount - All originals are mounted with a soft cream mount, which means it is ready for framing.

Frame - There is an option for framing at the checkout.  The frame has a soft grey look and works perfectly with most room decor.

Packaging

We are trying to do our bit for the environment, therefore your painting will be sent out with Eco-friendly bioderadable bubble wrap. It is then gift wrapped in tissue paper and wrapped in a cardboard outer. We try to use recycled cardboard from items that have been sent to us, so don't be surprised if you cardboard has been used previously.
